Funeral or wedding, an
animal, thirty seconds of continuous action, everyone has to be in every scene,
people can play plants, animals or building, various scenes in which people
travel using some form of transportation
“Zombie Love”: Sabrina, Ray,
Ashley, Millenia, Cheyenne, Esteban, Amy G., Doug
Long and rambling: Funeral,
zombies, Dr. Phil Show, a wedding between Doug and Cheyenne, Millenia – now a
zombie – is in love with Doug and heartbroken he is marrying another.

5th Period:

The Echo Poem
Using Soroyan’s poem, but any
poem can do, the poem is broken into lines. Give the poem as a whole to the
class. Read it aloud. Then give the poem, divided into lines, to the class and have them read the
poem silently to themselves and write a response to each line. After one person reads a line from the
poem, someone else reads his/her personal thought/reaction to the line.
6th Period:
Warm-up:
Random topic: coffee, liars,
etc.
Someone lays down a beat
Others in a group create a
song, or a rap about the subject
Shakespeare Scene Rehearsal:

As the actors read the scene,
the actors toss a ball back and forth. The ball encapsulates the idea or
objective or desire of the line. The actor throws the ball in the way that
expresses her/his objective.
