Three Scenes and a Phrase
Students will break into groups of four.
The students will come up with a phrase that is at least four words long:

Your group is going to create three scenes (about a minute in length)
The scene must have a conflict, character relationships, and a beginning, a middle, and an end. The scene must have a story.
Each scene has to use the phrase in some way. Each time the phrase is used, it must be used in a different way.

The first thing I want you to do is:
1.     Write down the names of each person in your group
2.     Then create your four word phrase
3.     Then create a scenario for each scene (there must be three scenes).

These scenes can be stand-alone (not connected together)
Or these scenes can be connected, and be Act 1, Act 2, or Act 3 of the story.

Each scene must be a minute long, must have characters, a situation, and a conflict of some sort, and an arc, which means a beginning, a middle, and an end.

Each scene must have the phrase.
First thing you are going to do is write down the names of everybody in your group.

Second thing you are going to do is come up a four-word phrase which you can say with a variety of meanings.

Third thing you are going to do is come up with ideas for three scenes in which you can use the phrase.
