60 Second Movie!!

4^th Period:

New Assignment:

Break into groups of five

Create a one-minute movie

It must be one of the following genres:

Romantic comedies, comedy, comedy-drama,  drama, action, musical, film noir (detective story), science-fiction

The film must include a love story, a death (even a fake death), travel to another country, a phrase, which recurs throughout the story, a pet of some sort.

Group 1: On stage

Group 2: 2^nd Row by the window

Group 3: 5^th Row by the white board

Group 4: By the vent next to the window

Group 5: the 7^th row by the white board

Group 6: By the a/c  in the back

Group 7: Past the Dracula poster on the wall, past the white board

Once you are in your group, please write down everyone’s name in your group. Choose the film genre (category); the plot, the characters, and cast the roles.  

You will present this tomorrow!

Wednesday, February 3rd: 

Guest artist: Melissa

60 Second Film!

Must be in a specific genre, must have a love story, travel, a death, a phrase, etc.

Groups which performed:

Audry, Ki, Oscar, Myleth, Michelle

Audry – puppy

Oscar and Michelle are in love

They are confronted by a jealous crazy ex-girlfriend who shoots and kills Oscar. Years later, Michelle runs into Ki and eventually recognizes her. Calls the police on her and she is killed.

Thailor, Shakhina, Stephanie, Lynn,

 Thailor is cheating on Shakhina with Stephanie. Shakhina confronts Thailor and kills him and their child, Lynn. A little confusing and not fleshed out.

Joan, Kimberly, James, Tyrone

Kimberly and James are in love. They try to run off but James is stopped by his boss (?) King (?) who demands that James gets back to work. James refuses and is killed? Not clear. Allow them a re-do tomorrow!
