 Groups for Three Scenes and a Phrase

Had conference with each group regarding the structure of the three scenes; offered encouragement and suggestions:

Everyone must have lines in all of their scenes.

Wednesday, January 20th: 

Break into groups to work on scenes:

Through line: Crazy sub and terrorized kids in all three scenes

Jelanie, Natalie, Stepan, Reyna, Johan – "Where’s my shoe?"

Worked through first scene

Thursday, January 21st: 

Worked with:

Kristina, Dalicia, Chelsea, Thailor, Lynn – “Was that a threat?”

Worked with them on two of the three scenes

Santa Monica Pier – ex friends meet

“Gangsta Iniation” – interrupted by a bee

Need to work on the third scene

Worked with:

Shakhina, Ki, Arturo, Mark, Angie  - “Just kidding! No offense!”

1^st Scene: kids playing “Truth or Dare” call 911; the firemen arrive and warn the kids. The kids decide to pop some popcorn while continuing to play “Truth or Dare”  and the dare is to call 911 again. The firemen arrive, find out it’s another joke,  say this time they are going to fine the parents and they leave. The kids have forgotten about the pop corn and now there is a fire going in the kitchen. They call the firemen but the firemen think it’s a joke again and don’t respond.

1^st Scene:

Jelanie looking for shoe. Stepan had it all along

2^nd Scene:

Jelanie’s shoe stolen by Johan. Jelanie decks him and gets it back. Stepan makes fun of Johan for getting decked.

3^rd Scene:

Obnoxious parents take 12 year old to restaurant. Parents treat kid like a baby. Kid rebels and goes to “Sky Zone” to get away from parents. Chef steals his shoes. Serves the shoes as food to parents.
