Worked with THE CHILDREN’S HOUR (third time – still did not get through it b/c students did not write down blocking and don’t remember ANYTHING!!!!)

Clueless: Michelle – didn’t write anything down, wandering around

Racial profiling of two kids:

Kids working on science project – two girls don’t like each other b/c  they like the same guy Esteban – who is, unbeknownst to them, gay. He likes Juan.

Tableaux

Two groups

A situation is given: for example, people gawking at animals at the zoo; people standing in line at a club. Audience judges which is better tableau.

Broke class into scenes.

Alicia worked with “DMV Tyrant” (George and Cheyenne) and “Funeral Parlor” (Shawn and Millenia)

I worked with “Mean Girls” (Carter, Henry, Kyla, Nush, Annie, Jess and Jack)

Rest of class did not work, did not follow directions, sat and talked instead of working.
