Twenty minute write:
Create a character
Create either an issue, a situation, or a conflict
Write a monologue about that issue or the situation or the conflict
It doesn’t have to be serious. It can be funny.

You are going to break into your groups; you’re going to
come up with a phrase with a minimum of four words, which can be used in a multitude of ways. Then you are going
to create three scenes, each different, using the phrase in a different way
each time.
Each scene must be a minute long, must have characters, a
situation, and a conflict of some sort, and an arc, which means a beginning, a
middle, and an end.
Each scene must have the phrase.
First thing you are going to do is write down the names of
everybody in your group.
Second thing you are going to do is come up a four-word
phrase which you can say with a variety of meanings.
Third thing you are going to do is come up with ideas for
three scenes in which you can use the phrase.
