Tuesday, April 1st:

Break students into groups of six and give each group an acting style on which to do a presentation:
The acting styles are:
Commedia Dell' Arte
Stanislavsky:  Naturalistic Acting
Michael Chekhov
Stella Adler
Lee Strasberg
Sanford Meisner
Uta Hagen

The preparation will include:

The Process will include:
All students will do research and are responsible for five note cards each on the subject
(Five sources from a book and two from an internet source) - 100 points
One student will be assigned the biography of the teacher
Two students will collaborate on the ten basic tenets of the acting philosophy
Two students will find a short representative scene to present to the class - 100 points
One student will prepare a power point about the teacher and her/his philosophy about the class, which all the students will present to the class - 100 points

Each step will be work 100 points for a total of 300 points
